Toremi (the "App") is a running app provided by Sho Fujimoto (the "Developer"). It records your treadmill workouts and builds a training plan toward your goal race or fitness goal.
This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information.
This Privacy Policy applies to the following app:
- App name on the App Store: Toremi: Treadmill Run Coach
- Bundle ID (iOS) / package name (Android): com.fjsh.treadmillpace

The App has no accounts or sign-in. The Developer does not collect your name, email address, or phone number.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you enter or set
- Weight, sex, year of birth, running days per week, and current weekly distance
- Your goal (goal race distance, date, and target time; or, for weight loss, target weight, deadline, and weekly calorie target)
- Workout records (date and time, duration, distance, speed, incline, workout type, effort, and segments)
- How you feel today (good, normal, tired, or in pain)
- Settings such as the distance unit
- Messages you send to the AI coach (see Section 3)
1.2 Information generated through use
- The weekly training plan built from your goal, and which of this week's tasks you have completed
- Values calculated from your records, such as calories burned and predicted race times
1.3 Location
Only when you use the outdoor run feature, the App collects your device's location (latitude, longitude, and time) to measure the distance and pace of your run. If you set location access to "Always," the App keeps measuring while your screen is locked.
Your route is stored only on your device together with the workout. It is never sent to the Developer's server or to the AI service provider.
On iOS, the App uses Apple Maps (MapKit) to show your route on a map. Showing the map may send information about the displayed area to Apple.
The information in 1.1 to 1.3 is stored on your device. It may be lost if you delete the App, reset your device, change devices, or due to OS behavior.
1.4 Information collected automatically
- The App version and OS type (sent to the Developer's server to check for updates)
- Your RevenueCat anonymous user ID (see 1.5 and Section 3)
- Technical information such as connection logs and IP addresses
1.5 Purchase information
The subscription (Personal Plan) is processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The Developer uses RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.) to process and manage purchases, and the following information is handled:
- Purchase and subscription status, the product purchased, and the expiration date
- Receipts and transaction IDs issued by the store
- Your RevenueCat anonymous user ID
The Developer does not collect or store payment information such as credit card numbers, bank accounts, or store account passwords.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide the App, including recording workouts, building and adjusting your plan, and showing predicted times
- To measure distance and pace on outdoor runs
- To generate the AI coach's replies and suggested plan changes
- To provide the subscription, check your subscription status, and restore purchases
- To manage how many times the AI coach is used and to prevent abuse
- To notify you of updates
- To investigate and fix bugs
- To comply with laws, the App's Terms of Service, and platform policies
3. Information Handled by the AI Features
If you subscribe to the Personal Plan, you can use the AI coach and the weekly review. To generate AI replies, the App sends the following information to the Developer's server (Cloudflare), which forwards it to the AI service provider (DeepSeek):
- Goal type, distance, target time, weekly calorie target, and days until the goal date
- Running days per week, your training pace level (VDOT), distance unit, and how you feel today
- This week's plan and what you have completed, the volume of the next 4 weeks, and the totals and effort of the last 4 weeks of workouts
- Your conversation with the AI coach (up to the 20 most recent messages) and the display language
The following information is not sent to the AI service provider:
- Your RevenueCat anonymous user ID or device ID
- Your name, weight, workout dates, or routes
The Developer's server uses your RevenueCat anonymous user ID only to check your subscription status and to manage the daily usage limit (currently 30). The server stores the day's usage count for each anonymous user ID.
The Developer does not store the content of your conversations on the server. Conversations with the AI coach are also deleted from your device when you close the screen. To manage costs, the server records only the amount of text the AI processed (token counts). Connection logs and error logs may be recorded temporarily for troubleshooting and security.
Do not enter sensitive personal information in the chat, such as your real name, address, phone number, email address, passwords, payment information, or medical history.
4. Ads, Analytics, and Tracking
The App does not show ads. It does not use any service for usage analytics or crash collection. The App does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and does not collect advertising identifiers such as the IDFA.

6. Transfers to Third Parties in Other Countries
Through the third-party services in Section 5, information may be sent to, processed, and stored by companies outside Japan (mainly in the United States, and in the People's Republic of China for generating the AI coach's replies).
Information about each country's personal information protection system is available on the website of Japan's Personal Information Protection Commission (https://www.ppc.go.jp/personalinfo/legal/kaiseihogohou/#gaikoku ). China has a personal information protection law, but its system differs from Japan's; for example, the law may allow government agencies to access information. Do not enter information that can identify you in the chat.
7. Disclosure to Third Parties
The Developer does not sell your information. We do not provide it to third parties except:
- With your consent
- When we entrust processing to the service providers in Section 5 to the extent necessary to provide the App
- When required by law
- When necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property
- In connection with a business transfer
8. Retention
Data on your device remains until you delete the App or it is deleted by your device or OS. Information processed on the server is kept only as long as needed for the purposes in this Policy, and is then deleted or anonymized, unless we need to keep it longer for legal compliance, security, or investigating abuse.
9. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you are a minor, please use the App with the consent of a parent or guardian.
10. Your Choices and Rights
- Location: You can change or revoke location access at any time in your device settings. Without it, you can still use every feature except outdoor runs.
- AI coach: Using it is optional. If you do not use it, the information in Section 3 is not sent.
- Data on your device: Deleting the App erases it. You can also delete workouts one by one from the workout screen.
- Requests for disclosure, correction, suspension of use, deletion, and so on: Contact us at the address in Section 12. We will respond as required by law.
11. Security and Changes to This Policy
The Developer takes reasonable measures to prevent leaks, loss, and unauthorized access to information.
We may revise this Policy in response to changes in laws, the App's features, or third-party services. We will announce important changes in the App or on our website.
