FIRE Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of FIRE (the “App”), an investment simulation app provided by Sho Fujimoto (the “Developer”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. What the App provides
The App uses historical market and currency data and your inputs to simulate contributions and changes in asset value. It also displays results based on assumptions about the future. Market data may be updated monthly; corrections and updates can change results for the same inputs.
The assets shown in the App are synthetic series built from index returns after an assumed expense ratio. They are not the prices or performance of actual ETFs or investment funds. Series such as “Global Equities” do not exactly reproduce a particular real-world index. Data methods and periods can differ, and taxes, trading costs and other real-world factors may be omitted. Sources and calculation assumptions are explained in the App's “Data and calculations” section.
Results, historical event descriptions and future projections are for information and education. They do not guarantee future returns or asset values and are not personalized investment advice. You are responsible for your investment decisions and should seek professional advice where appropriate.
2. Free use, ads and Premium
The free version has a limit on simulation runs and may show ads. Ad availability and extra opportunities offered through ads are not guaranteed. Premium includes no ads, unlimited simulation runs and access to data updates. Review the features and price shown on the purchase screen before buying.
Premium is offered as a monthly auto-renewing subscription or a lifetime purchase. The price shown by the Apple App Store or Google Play at checkout applies and is charged to your store account. The monthly plan renews automatically unless you cancel it in your store account settings before the current period ends. You retain access until the end of the paid period after cancellation. Deleting the App or contacting the Developer does not cancel a subscription. You can use “Restore Purchases” in the App. Refunds follow applicable law and the purchasing store's process.
3. Stored data and sharing
Information about people, simulation inputs and history are stored on your device. Review any amounts, ages and other details in videos or text you share, and choose the audience yourself. Device failure, App deletion or a device change may cause local data loss.
4. Prohibited conduct and rights
You must not violate law or others' rights, disrupt the App or its data server, access it without authorization, bulk extract or redistribute delivered data, or misuse the App's mechanisms or payments. Rights in the App and delivered content belong to the Developer or their respective owners. You may share videos created with the App's sharing feature while keeping the source attribution.
5. Changes and liability
The Developer may update data, change features or prices, or suspend or end the service. Material changes will be notified as required by law and store rules. The Developer does not guarantee accuracy, completeness or continuous availability. The Developer's liability is limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law. These Terms do not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.
6. Changes to Terms, law and contact
If these Terms change, we will update the date on this page and provide additional notice in the App where appropriate. Japanese law governs these Terms, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.
